Scrapbook Saturday - Panto People

We did something a little different at this month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club - rather than working on 12x12 pages for our albums we used the Divided Page Protectors.  They provide a very different way of scrapbooking - they are ideal for when you have lots of photos of one event, or when you want to get something scrapped fast.  What we also found when we got going was that they are a great way of making your supplies go a long way!  This month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Kit contained a pack of Divided Page Protectors and half a Simply Scrapping Kit and some A4 Card Stock and I managed to complete 8 double sided pages with it!

The divided page protectors are great for telling the complete story of an event and one of the stories I decided to tell this month was of this year's Village Panto - Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Panto.

The only downside of using these Divided Page Protectors that I have found is taking their photos after you have filled them! These pages show everyone who was on the stage - I have added a grey box on the photo to cover the names.

These two pages tell a little more of the story of the show itself and in addition to what you can see I have tucked some journalling in a couple of the pockets between the photos.

At the heart of every Panto is the battle between good and evil and traditionally the good characters enter from the audiences right and the baddies from the left - something we still try and do today, and which was easy to show using these Divided Page Protectors.

So far everyone who has made these pages with me has really enjoyed them and they are going to sit beautifully along side our regular pages.  There is one more chance to join us and make these pages and more on Saturday 18 May at 2pm in Dunstable.  To book your place or to order a kit to be posted to you just click below or email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk.
