One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday is curl up with a good book. Now daft as it may seem I think every new book deserves a little book mark of its own. Sometimes this is just a pretty piece of paper, sometimes it’s a specially made bookmark. I also like to have a couple of bookmarks spare and these two I am going to show you today have yet to find books to go with them!
Each was made using the wonderful Owl Punch and the Decorative Label Punch. I love how the SU punches are sturdy enough to punch through two layers of card allowing you to make a folded shape like the ones on the top of these bookmarks!
A length of ribbon was stuck inside each folded shape and the bookmarks are ready to go. With a little creative cutting the owl becomes an adorable penguin!
That said the book that I am reading the most at the moment is the script to the play I am directing and that has several book marks in it already ... Must dash rehearsals this afternoon
